The organizers of UXPA 2016 would like to extend an invite to all attendees to the following events. A variety of local companies have come together to organize these events. Options range from lab tours and talks to an Oculus hands-on demo. Each event has limited space and registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact chair2016@uxpa.org.

Blink UX Open House

Born out of the passion to make things easier to use, Blink UX is an agency built on the foundation of science and design and the idea that all things can be intuitive if they are designed with a deep understanding of human behavior.

Come join us at our beautiful Puget Sound view office to learn how we do UX Design and Research.

Moz Open House

Come meet the UX team at Moz, a software as a service company that offers Marketing and SEO tools to users around the world.

The centralized UX team transforms complex business problems into elegant and intelligent interfaces. The team consists of: UX Product Designers (9), a UX Researcher, Visual Designers (3), Content Strategist (2).

Moz is a strong supporter of the UX community and hosts and sponsors many Seattle UX-centric events including the monthly Seattle Information Architecture & User Experience Meetup, XX+UX Seattle, Seattle World IA Day (WIAD) 2016, and UX Community Holiday Party 2015.

Capital One: Changing Banking through UX

Capital One is known as a bank and credit card company, but in reality, it's a UX-centric, tech company in the making, with a goal of positively changing the way people relate to and manage their money and credit. We are rapidly adopting the latest design and research techniques, tools and practices, and seeking top talent to empower humanity’s ability to harness a basic ingredient to survival: money and finance.
